The Urban League of Portland invites you to our annual MLK Day Brunch on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Oregon Convention Center. 

For 80 years, the Urban League of Portland has worked to empower Black Oregonians and others across Oregon and Southwest Washington to achieve equality in education, employment, health, economic security, and quality of life. Central to this mission is our partnership with legislators and community leaders to advance policies that deliver meaningful, justice-driven change.

Our policy priorities span criminal justice reform, economic justice, education, environmental justice, food security, government reform, health, housing and homelessness, voting reform, and workforce development. Each year, our MLK Day Brunch honors the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his historic connection to the Urban League of Portland. This gathering brings together elected officials, community leaders, and advocates to celebrate Dr. King’s vision and recommit ourselves to action that advances justice and equity. The program will feature a community breakfast, reflections, and a call to action inspired by Dr. King’s life and work.
