About the Event:

You’re invited to be part of the Urban League of Portland’s Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner this fall! This annual gala is an opportunity to invest in equality in education, employment, health, economic security, and quality of life for the Black community in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

This year, we are exploring how Art is a Movement. For generations, art has been a powerful tool. It sheds light on untold stories. It creates connections that transcend our differences. Most of all, art reminds us of the power within ourselves and our collective strength when we work together.

Join us as we honor artists from the Portland community and beyond. We’ll enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner and program, and enjoy time among community members who are all invested in thriving Black communities. All proceeds from the evening will provide crucial funding to support our wraparound services and programs impacting more than 10,000 individuals each year.
