Since 1945, the Urban League of Portland has been the foundation, the gathering place, and the heartbeat of Oregon’s Black community. This year, our 80th Anniversary Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner embraces the theme Homecoming—a celebration of legacy, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds that unite us. Inspired by the energy of an HBCU homecoming and the warmth of a family reunion, this event is more than a milestone—it’s a call to return, reconnect, and reaffirm our collective strength.

As we honor our past and step boldly into the future, we invite you to celebrate with us—to strengthen our community, elevate our impact, and ensure that this home remains a beacon for generations to come. Can’t make it to the main event? You can still join the celebration! Our first-ever EOD After Party, hosted by the Urban League Young Professionals, will take place at the same venue directly after the gala from 9pm-12am. It’s going to be an evening of fun, philanthropy, and community.
